InsureShield® Shipping Insurance is a flexible shipping protection solution offered through UPS Capital Insurance Agency, Inc. It helps protect your in‑transit goods against loss, damage, and porch piracy across your supply chain, based on your business needs and risk tolerance.

InsureShield® shipping protection includes coverage for loss, damage, and porch-pirated theft. Additional protection options include concealed damage coverage (up to 90 days), expedited reshipment for replacement of goods.

Policies

Coverage depends on your specific InsureShield® insurance policy. You can review your coverage details at any time through the InsureShield® Online Portal or contact a UPS Capital representative for one‑on‑one guidance on how your shipments are protected.

To modify your coverage or update your contact information, email capitalus@ups.com or call 877-263-8772 to speak with a UPS Capital representative who can assist with policy changes.

Billing

Billing frequency varies by policy and may be biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annually, or annually, depending on how your InsureShield® shipping coverage is set up.

You can view and pay your UPS Capital® invoice through the InsureShield® Online Portal. Flexible payment options are available such as ACH or wire transfer initiated through your bank.

For help accessing invoices or submitting payment, contact the UPS Capital team at capitalus@ups.com, and a representative will assist you.

Claims

Once a claim is submitted through the InsureShield® Online Portal the with the required documentation and photos, InsureShield® approved claims are paid within days. If additional information is needed, a claims adjuster will notify you in writing.

You can check the status of your claim in the InsureShield® Online Portal at anytime by logging into the Online Portal and entering your tracking number, bill of lading (BOL), or claim number on the claim status page.

To register, visit the InsureShield® Online Portal and sign up using your policy number, email address, and the zip code associated with your account. A step‑by‑step video tutorial is also available for additional guidance.
